The issuance of electronic and mobile residency in Azerbaijan was discussed in Moscow
The manager of the Digital Trade Hub of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, Nijat Asadli held a meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Moscow, Russia. N. Asadli provided the detailed information on the Digital Trade Hub of Azerbaijan and the issuance of electronic and mobile residency for the first time in Azerbaijan. It was noted that Azerbaijan and Russia are mutual trade partners and trade and mutual investment are one of the important directions of Azerbaijan and Russian relations. Due to this fact, a positive growth in the trade turnover between these two countries is observed. By emphasizing these factors, the manager of the Digital Trade Hub stressed the importance of improving e-residency services as well as providing comprehensive and detailed information to the potential non-residents who can receive mobile and electronic residency in Russia. Therefore, a general strategy to inform the non-residents will be developed.
The employees of the embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation also added that Russia was the main partner of Azerbaijan for import, and it was on the first place for export of non-oil products. Due to this fact, the parties are interested in cooperation within the framework of Azerbaijan Digital Trade Hub.
The manager of the Digital Trade Hub, Nijat Asadli stated that meetings would be organized in this direction and non-residents would be provided with the detailed information on electronic signature by regular diplomatic representations and consulates.
